Reconnections Consultancy

From consulting and strategic development to implementation and support, my comprehensive services can help your organisation thrive.

Reconnections Consultancy is run by me, Dr. Trent Grassian, specialising in providing strategic support with learning, adaptation, and evaluation. With nearly 20 years of experience in the public and non-profit sectors, I am able to offer a range of specialisms based on my extensive training and experience.

I'm on a mission to redefine impact—because it's not just about doing more, it's about doing what truly matters.

I believe it's time to shift how we think about impact—from a vague buzzword to a powerful, measurable force for change. Whether you're a leader, a team, or an organisation, I help you unlock your highest potential and channel it where it counts most. This isn't just about making a difference. It's about making the right difference.

My approach: Designing Impact That Lasts

1. Bold Visioning - I don't let today's limitations stifle tomorrow's possibilities. I help you dream big—envisioning a more just, equitable world—and then build the roadmap to get there.

2. Future-Focused - We begin with the end in mind—imagining the world we want to live in. From that vision, we work backward to map out the bold, strategic steps that will take you there.

3. Growth-Driven - Lasting impact comes from constant evolution. I guide you through critical reflection and strategic learning to amplify what works and adapt where needed—so you're always moving forward, stronger.

4. Storytelling with Substance - Your impact deserves to be seen, heard, and felt. I transform data and research into powerful, human-centered narratives that showcase your work, the lives you touch, and the future you're shaping.

5. Co-Created & Intersectional - Real change is never top-down. It's built with people, not just for them. My approach centres diverse voices, prioritizes lived experience, and embeds participation at every level—ensuring inclusion is not an afterthought, but the foundation.

Alex Fox
Delivery Director at IMPOWER

Working with Trent during my time at Mayday Trust was an absolute joy. He brought such warmth, thoughtfulness, and a genuine passion for making a difference, and quickly became someone the whole team respected and enjoyed working with. Trent helped us find simple, meaningful ways to understand and show our impact, always keeping the voices of the people we supported at the centre. Thanks to his calm leadership and collaborative approach, we began to see data not just as numbers, but as stories and insights that could guide and strengthen our work.

Housing First England & Homeless Link

I had the pleasure of working on Housing First England research and evaluations at Homeless Link for two years. With a sharp focus on detail and a warm and friendly approach, Trent is brilliant at stakeholder engagement, gathering data and insights and creating readable, engaging reports and resources. I look forward to working together again in the future.

Trent is a pro-active, friendly and supportive colleague. Any organisation working with him can be confident that their impact measurement is in safe hands as he has years of experience building and managing data monitoring systems from scratch.

Jude Wiggins
Development Manager at Safe Passage International

It was edifying working with Dr. Grassian. He managed to complement my work efforts while offering knowledgeable and workable solutions. I thought this work situation was peculiar to he and I but he seemed to work with others just as well. It was truly a pleasure to work as a team with Dr. Grassian.

I have had the pleasure of working with Trent and he is such a thoughtful, meticulous and collaborative facilitator. There are not many facilitators that are able to create spaces where you feel safe to share, safe to not know, and safe to seek out support even with the hardest of topics. Would work with Trent again in a heart beat!
